James Dyson Ltd is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Pennines, in the Colne Valley, Huddersfield.

Huddersfield has been a popular area for the textile industry for many years. This is due to a number of different factors such as:

• The soft water, which is typical of the Colne Valley, is perfect for dyeing wool and other fibres.
• The Pennines are perfect for sheep grazing and have therefore provided a good source of wool over the years.
• Good communications. (The use of The Huddersfield / Manchester Narrow Canal in the 1800's, the railway network and more recently the A62 and M62).

Where are we?

From M62 West; get off at junction 23 and follow signs to Huddersfield.

From M62 East; get off at either junction 24 or 25 and follow signs to Huddersfield.

From M1; get off at junction 38 and follow signs to Huddersfield.

From Huddersfield Ring Road, follow signs to Oldham A62 (Manchester Road).

After about 4 miles along Manchester Road you will approach Linthwaite Village. James Dyson Ltd is situated on the left-hand side of the main road, before the petrol garage and shops. You may notice our decorated water tanks across the road from our premises.
